Metrostyle Complaint - Not An Honest Company/Stealing Customers Money

MILFORD, CONNECTICUT -- I purchased a 3-Piece Cami Pansuit on August 9, 2011. The quality was not what I expected, so I returned it. Today is January 5, 2012 and I have not received my refund yet. I've made more that 20 calls to the company unsuccessfully. The waiting period IS so long that most of the time the systems just disconnected me.

Only 4 times did a human being answered.

First, they told me that the company was in a state of RESTRUCTURING.

Second, the representative told me that the company was sold in bankruptcy and I would have to wait for them to find my package in their warehouse. I ask for her name and she refused. What company tells their employee NOT to give their name to the customer?

Third, I was told that they did receive my return, but only a supervisor had the authority to refund my money. They will connect me with a supervisor.. guess what I was disconnected.

Fourth, after 50 minutes of waiting the representative was going to connect me to a supervisor and guess what?.... I was disconnected AGAIN.

Good advice. It sounds like they are only a few ticks away from closing down. When smaller retailers throw around buzzwords like bankruptcy and restructuring, odds are good closing isn't coming far behind. Yes, I wouldn't buy anything from said company based on this.
