Electrolux Complaint - Disappointed in company, Product and Service
CLEVELAND, OHIO -- We purchase our new elecrolux refrigerator in Feb 2011. We began to problems with the ice maker located in the refrigerator portion of the unit. The ice would melt down and freeze together clogging up the ice maker and now it does not work at all. We have an extended 5 year warranty and called for service in Sept 2011. Repair man came out and ordered the part to replace the control panel of the ice maker. It is now January of 2012. We still do not have the part for the repair. I have called endlessly to HHgregg, the repair contractor and Electrolux. What is most disappointing is the way this has been handled. We were told several times that the part would ship tomorrow. Then it would not. No one would call us to let us know. How difficult could it be to get a part for an ice maker.
