Mazada Complaint - Oil changed done work and cause the motor to get messed up

Review by pruplerose_ddlg 19 on 2012-01-06
LAREDO, TEXAS -- Two or three months ago, I took this car to car company had the oil changed and it had to be taken back three times before they could fix it right. Oil was all over the motor and all over the ground. I feel it was a mechanic who did not know what he was doing. I do feel it was there mistake and so I took it again for an oil change ( been taken it to them sense we had the car plus other part that had to be check), and I do feel that because of there mistake it is messed up my car. The car has 65,000 miles and it has made only 2 long trips and I feel that they have done so much work on this car that it is ridiculous plus it is still under warranty. It is there mistake I feel because I am a woman they can take advantage of me. I have picture of the mess that the oil changed caused to my car and I feel that they should fixed the part.

This is a confusing review. But it does appear the complaint should be against the "car company" not Mazda.

Could it be I have misunderstood and this is not a Mazda car but Mazada is, in fact, the "car company" you are referring to?

Did you end up with engine damage? I hope the problem was confined to an oily mess on the outside of it.

I'd go elsewhere from now on.

Maybe take your car to a different place to have the oil changed next independent mechanic would be your best bet, rather than a chain store (Walmart has been known to mess up oil changes as well) or a quick-lube place (where they try to sell you additional services that your car may or may not need, such as a transmission flush, a coolant flush, a fuel system cleaning, etc.)

I cringed when I read this review. This review must be referring to the Mazda dealership that changed the oil.
