Sears Complaint - Nordic Track Purchase
I purchased a $1500.00 NordicTrack Pro C900, with the warranty and item it came to around $1500.00, to be delivered on 1/5/12 between 9 am and 11 am. At 12:30 P.M. I got a call from the delivery co. that they were running late and could not be here till 4:00 p. m... I had to cancel the delivery because I had an appointment at 2:00 pm that same day. You see I to am paid to be on time for my appointments, and if I cannot make it on time I call in advance to let them know. Oh, well enough on the lesson for common curtsey.
I asked if they could schedule the delivery for the next morning. They said they would try. I got a call at 7:00 pm last night and the recording said delivery would be tomorrow between 1:00pm and 3:00 pm. I spoke to a lady and she said the time could not be changed I would have no choice but to take the time scheduled. I called about 11:00 am today to check to see if the delivery would be on time today and the lady said everything was on schedule for delivery between 1:00 and 3:00 today it would be on time. I stayed home all day waiting for the delivery and I received a call from the driver. About 4:15 pm the driver calls and informs me that he would be here around 8:00 or 9; 00 pm tonight to deliver and assemble the machine. I am not going to except a delivery at bed time, much less stay up half the night while they are assembling it. Sears has always been the place I bought my appliances and other things for years, maybe this is why Sears is shutting down places across the country. It looks like it lacks leadership form the top management. I am considering canceling the entire order and going somewhere else for my purchase.
