Horchow Complaint - Poor Customer Service

MARYLAND -- Hello: Horchow has very good looking items but not the least expensive. We bought on line one of their more expensive coffee tables. Six weeks later we got a call that the table was ready for delivery. The day of the delivery we got another call that the table was not available. Told it would take another few weeks. The next week we got another call that the table could be delivered. When it came the delivrey men offered to cut some cardboard pads to replace the ones that were missing. The pads are needed to keep the glass top in place. A month later we are still using the cardboard pads. When we contacted Horchow they offered to order the pads but when the pads arrived they were pads for the feet not the ones to hold the glass in place.

Have now received three emails from Horchow insisting that they sent the right pads. Not at all true and the table is going to the cellar until we find a way to fix it. Beware. A high price does not assure quality item or sevice from these people. On top of this we are pretty sure the table was used not new when delivered.

Have you emailed and certified mailed them photos of the table with the cardboard? And the foot pads?
The original person could have input the problem in wrong and they are sending you what they know.

Find out how much small claims court is v Home depot gel dots/pads. If you have shown them the problem, then certified mail them again with photos, your emails or telephone notes and ask / push again to pay the cost of replacements.
