Campbell's Complaint - Plastic

Review by cindaberry1 on 2012-01-08
CAMDEN, PENNSYLVANIA -- My husband were going to eat but a problem came up with the menu so I made us hot dogs and chicken noodle soup and I had taken a bite and found something on my tongue took it out and it was a piece of plastic. 1/2 long and 1/4 inch wide in a triangular shape. If I ha swallowed it I could have had major problems. I stopped eating right away and so did my husband,
We have eaten your soup for many years but I think this might change our minds

do you care?

Have you tried contacting corporate? They want feedback and need to know about this.

They cannot attempt to correct, what you do not make them aware of.

I suggest following Skye's link and letting them know of your incident. Then, and only then, will you find the answer to your question of whether or not they care. Please come back and let us know what happens!

It has been my experience that if you have problems with just about any food product, a call to an 800 number or an email on their website gets a quick response, They apologize, thank you for the feedback and usually send you coupons for their products. They really do want your feedback, and they DO care.

take photos - show the can the numbers and UPC on the can. They care if you can document it.

I too have bit into a clear plastic piece in my chunky chicken and dumplings soup Sun. 1/08/12. I have pics. Bit into it with a bottom tooth that just recently had root canal and has a temp. cap on it. It hurts from biting the plastic. Dentist appt. tomorrow. I called Cambells on Mon. and filed a complaint. They are sending me out forms and a return container to give them the plastic I found. Please contact me with your follow-up at
