Direct TV Complaint - Cancellation Policy - Cable TV
LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY -- When I called to cancel my service, after 12 months, I was informed that a 2 year contract was in place and the cancellation fee would be $240. When I placed the new order, I wrote down the sales rep's name, number, date and the verbal agreement that was made. No one wanted this information (Manager at Direct TV)!! A manager even told me that they had a signature agreeing to this promotion, when asked for a copy of it, I was told that there was none. Unfortunately, I have to either pay this expense or RUIN MY CREDIT!!!! Can you believe it? What a scam!!!
