Staples Complaint - Staples - Out of stock, blames customer for not receiving order.
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- So Staples has an online sale which I was pretty happy about since they were selling a full set of different colored sharpees for just $3.00. I place my order happily and patiently wait for it. I receive an email a day later stating that my order had been canceled to to the product being out of stock. I reply saying that they should keep better track of stock and offer customers an incentive on another product because of the disappointment. A reply comes later stating that my "customer number" was the cause of putting my order on hold while they continued to ship other customers orders till they were out of stock. Funny how that didn't do anything to stop my other order placed on the same day for a thumb drive. SO, basically I was just basically blamed for my own order getting screwed up while at the same time my other order shipped with no problems whatsoever. Thanks for nothing "Tina" at Staples.com.
