DHL Complaint - Dishonest DHL
UK -- A division of Lloyds Banking Group entrusted DHL with my title deeds on a guaranteed next day delivery service.
DHL failed to deliver next day, failed to inform me and I waited in all day.
Instead, they decided to pass my package to a small independent third party courier to deliver at their leisure.
Lloyds Banking Group asked DHL to return the package when it was obvious they would not abide by their delivery guarantee before close of business.
DHL's tracking system showed DHL ignored this instruction and subsequent phone calls from Lloyds Banking Group found that the title deeds are out in a vehicle DHL have no control over.
If DHL will be so cavalier when entrusted with the security of a package under a contract with a huge banking group, frankly they will mess anyone about and say anything to acquire your business.
Obviously "guaranteed" means something different in DHL English. No doubt the term "dishonest" is missing from the DHL vocabulary.
