Banker's Warranty Complaint - Banker's Warranty - Replacement Protection stinks

PORTLAND, OREGON -- My heated jacket & vest from Brookstone stopped working after 3 or 4 months. I had bought the Banker's Warranty 2-year Replacement Protection on both garments.

Four phone calls and 3 e-mails to Banker's Warranty -- I still have no replacement products or in lieu of gift card.

Their obvious strategy is to just hope with enough dilly dallying a customer will just give up.

I'll be calling my credit card co. tomorrow; have never done a dispute claim before... hopefully it isn't more frustration.

Are they giving you anything in regards to why the hold up and how long replacement should take? You'd be stopping the transaction on Brookstone so maybe give them a(another) call first and see if they will help lean on Banker's with/for you. The did sell the coverage so they could be somewhat more helpful in theory with this. The dispute may have to be a last resort as it's tricky. You can mention your intentions regarding it but hold back unless all else fails. If you loose the arbitration, they'll never be of any help afterward.
