Newegg Compliment - Customer Service
LA PUENTE, CALIFORNIA -- Waaaay back there in May of '05 I ordered an SD memory card from Newegg.
The short story is, the item and its replacements gave me nothing but consistent failures up to September of the same year.
Calls to tech support only got me an offer to replace the unit again (would've been the third time), so I decided to post a complaint on resellerratings.com.
That got their attention, and I was soon contacted by a higher level customer service representative, who refunded me the full purchase price and told me to keep the card (it is still usuable, just unreliable due to being slower than advertised and experiencing occasional data loss) as a gift from Newegg for my troubles.
Resolution took longer than I liked, but Newegg made right in the end, for which I am grateful.
