Verizon Wireless Complaint - Don't change your Family plan online!
VENTURA, CALIFORNIA -- I had a 700 minutes Family plan and tried to up it to 1400 minutes online due to possibility of overage. I was trying to avoid overage fees so thought that would cover me. NOT! It prorated my account and put me in an overage right away! Costing me $70, plus the new bill "paying one month in advance" cost me a total bill of $234.00! I called to complain about the trickery since there was no notice that I was putting myself in overage land, and after refusing a 14% refund they gave me a 50% refund, of a whooping $35.00. Bottom line, call to make any changes in your bill. It could really save you.
