Brandon Beach House Complaint - This is the Worst Customer Service I have ever seen!
BRANDON, FLORIDA -- My little sister accidentally left her debit card at this establishment because she was running a bar tab. When she realized what happened, she called and the person she spoke with was very short with her and hung up on her. She was very upset when I spoke with her and I agreed to call for her, because I am a manager in retail and I often have to deal with irrational or rude people. The person I spoke with (his name was Matt) was very rude to me and hung up on me as well. He wouldn't even look for the card and he would not take down a number in case the card showed up. He would not let me speak with a manager and at the very end of the phone call he said he was the manager and owner. I could not believe how rude he was to me. When I told him that the card was left thereby accident he called me a liar. I have never seen such a lack of professionalism in all my years of experience. I believe that perhaps he was in the middle of arguing with someone else or that he was mistaking us for someone else when we called, as there is no other rational reason for him to be rude to us. Needless to say, I reported him to the Better Business Bureau. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I believe very strongly that if you are paying for service, it should be good service. You are paying for people to treat you like they are grateful for your business. Not only were we treated like a "bother" but the absence of customer service completely ruined my entire opinion of the establishment. I will never go there again, and I do not recommend going there. It is a little bit SHADY that he continued to hang up on us for asking him to look for a missing credit card.
