KFC Complaint - No receipt rule posted on counter top
BATTLE GROUND, WASHINGTON -- I went to the BattleGround WA KFC\A&W with my husband and 2 grandkids. We all had lunch and it was a good lunch. We decided to have dessert. On the counter top there is a red sign that says if we forget to give you a receipt your order is free. Well the male (Ryan)that took our order and handed us our desserts pushed the tray to me and I said thank you and he smiled and then I said you didn't give me a receipt. He just looks at me and says nothing so I pointed at the sign and read it to him, he still looking at me and then say "oh I'm not done with your order yet" and turned around grabbed the receipt off the counter behind him and handed it to me. The look on his face said he knew he messed up and didn't want to get in trouble. And refused to give me my order for free. My question is why have the sign out there if your not going to honor it. And even if you do mess up you don't have to be rude about it. I asked for the manager (Brett) and talking to him all I got was OK OK OK. Told him I would just do my complaint on line. Maybe someone here will care about their customers and want them to return. This in NOT a customer friendly restaurant. And does NOT follow their own rules even when posted.
