Rude treatment by store associate - Complaint

MONROEVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA -- Went shopping in the Brookstone store at Monroeville mall, Pa on December 11, 2011. I was with my wife and son looking to purchase a recliner chair that massages and heats. When my 15 year old son sat in the chair a store associate very rudely told my son to get out of the chair because he was not eighteen. I emailed Brookstone and it took some time to get a response asking me to call them. I called their CS and the 'rep' told me I would most likely get a gift card, etc for the rude treatment. That was several weeks ago. Nothing came by mail. Today, Jan 16, 2012 I received a call from Brookstone corporate and the lady I spoke to claimed it was a liability issue and she would call the store to tell them they should not be so nasty with good customers like me. I asked where is my giftcard and she said she knew nothing of me being compensation for the rude, indignant treatment. I was 'blown off'. I've spent plenty of money with Brookstone since the 1980's and I will never do any business with this company again. Very POOR customer service/satisfaction!!!
