Jeannie's Kids Club Complaint - Price quoted on completed order and what I was actually billed
I ordered the cooshee seat. Actually ordered two of them. Quoted a price. Recieved a confirmed receit for that order. Then rec'd another email to join the Kids club after I received the confirmation of order. The email did not indicated what the price was to join the club, nor what the price would be if I didn't join the kids club. As it turns out the price is $18 a year. I don't even pay membership for Credit card I use. Why would I join this club far annual fee.
I feel they should have quoted me the non-membership prices instead of the member prices. There were other places I could have gone and paid the $37.95 price instead of the $44.95 price. $90.85 is more palatable than$104.85. Imagine my surprise to find this bill instead of the previous amt.
I called them: They said they emailed me with the membership info. They did with no info on the membership as far as cost of membership. My complaint is why do they publish these reduced prices to a new person to their site that has no clue that you need to be a member to receive these prices. I asked them to credit me the excess they charged me. They would not. I feel what they did was fradulent and misleading. I will not order from them again, and I wanted you to know how they conduct their business, as I don't believe it is up front. They need to disclose at the beginning, the extra charges they charge for membership to receive their supposedly reduced prices.
