HHGregg Complaint - Defective BluRay Player/Bad Service
FORT WAYNE, INDIANA -- I bought my BluRay Player back in February 13th, 2011, got the five year plan and in December 20th, 2011, of the same year, my LG device stops playing any DVDs, BluRay or not, so I take it in. HHgregg's, the place I bought it from, fine customer service representatives tell me that they will send it in, the next day, and it will take 4-6 weeks. They also tell me that, even though their product crapped out on me in less than a year, that they can't give me a replacemnet product, that I'm just going to have to go with out for a month. So I wait until January 24th, 2012, thinking "it should be done about now, let me check it's status and see about how much longer." I call and find out that it JUST got shipped to LG on the 9th of January (two weeks later, not the next day) that it MIGHT be there by today and when I asked how much longer do I have to wait, I was told 2-3 weeks (on top of the five weeks I've been waiting to get my barely LG player back) and that is if they aren't backed up. This is wrong on so many levels. I bought a computer from Best Buy, back in 2006, moving five times with it, and have used it like crazy and it still is in great shape. I buy a BluRay Player from HHGregg, for almost half the price as the computer, mainly watch movies on it and take a lot of care and precaution with it, and it goes out in 10 months. Guess where I'm gonna be taking my business to, and recommending to others, from now on.
