Sears Complaint - Carlsbad California Store
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA -- I have just returned home at 5:40a.m. Sunday, September 25 after waiting for 36 minutes in a parking lot with other members of the ISM ( In Store Marketing) team for some member of management to come and open the store for us. One member was specifically asked to come in at 4:00a.m. by a member of our management. She waited for 15 minutes then left home to use the restroom, returned again only to have to wait with the rest of us for a manager that never appeared. You would think if the rest of us can be at work on time, that management would see fit to be there to let us in. I wouldn't feel a need to complain if this was a one time incident, but unfortunately its not. Trying to get the addresses of District or Regional Managers to complain to them is difficult to do. It's not an option to complain directly to the Store Manager. 1. We rarely ever see her. 2.Other, more outrageous incidences of impropriety have gone on at this store with very little or no consequences that it appears this incident would be of little importance to her. Most recently, we have had incidences of two employees, a manager and an in store security employee, having been caught having sex in the store stock room. Now, i dont know about anyone else, but that sounds like a cause for termination for both these employees . But, one was moved to managing the shoe department while another was moved to the automotive department. This is not the first incident of this kind either, im sorry to say. It's a regular Peyton Place or (Desperate Housewives for you younger folks) at this Sears. Having said this, it is understandable why any employee not at management level, would have a difficult time complaining about anything in the hopes that some sane solution to their problem would be possible. It leaves the rest of us believing that this particular Sears spends so much of its time covering up for the management level people that they dont have time for their other employees or for improving on customer service for that matter. Something that Sears in general, and this particlar store, could stand some improvement on.
