Riverview Exxon Complaint - Rude - No customer service focus

SOMERSET, NEW JERSEY -- I stop most mornings at the Riverview Exxon on Easton Ave in Somerset NJ. Invariably, the man behind the counter is always on the phone, and is speaking loudly into his bluetooth headset in an Indian language/dialect. He barely acknowledges my presence, and often get's my request wrong. I am not a stickler for formlities, but I am used to be greeted and thanked when I patronize any establishment.

I would think that Exxon Mobil has SOME standards of their franchisees, and that this behavior falls outside those standards. If it happened once I would shrug it off, but it is a daily occurrence.

I have begun to exercise a consumer's best way of complaining, I now go out of my way to stop elsewhere every morning.

You could try contacting Exxonmobil about this via http://www.exxonmobil.com/imports/contactus/contactus_contact.aspx or by calling their headquarters in Irving, TX at (972) 444-1000. Hopefully, they'll let the franchise owner know they have a customer service problem at this location.
