Medco Medicare Complaint - Payment Applied to Old Account Instead of Being Forwarded to New Acct.
LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY -- The State of NJ changed our prescription plan to Medco Medicare as of Jan 1 2012. We were told that everything would automatically be switched over and we didn't have to do anything. I sent in a payment for $78. on Jan. 25 2012 and they credited it to the old account instead of automatically applying it to the new account which the old balance was transferred to. Now I need to order my prescriptions and I an told that I can't since I have a balance of $83. Now they refuse to get this transferred right away since it is their fault and they are making me wait days to order my medication.
Tried to get a hold of a supervisor to no avail. Tried Corp. in Franklin Lakes no avail. So now they are holding my money and not applying it to my account. You talk about harassment. Please HELP
