Time Warner Cable - TWC Continues to Rip-Off Customers
Cable TV - Complaint
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- Once again TWC has found a new way to rip-off off its customers. As of Jan. 1, 2012 TWC no longer airs NY Knicks & Rangers games on MSG in their continued dispute over what they are willing to pay for the service. So instead of rebating customers for lost service, they give you the NBA & NHL Networks, which I really don't care about; neither of which will be able to show the Knicks or Rangers. If you want to discontinue receiving the substitute networks you have to change your service plan, which means you will lose other cable stations you may not want to lose. TWC knows they have you by the short hairs, the government allows them to operate like a monopoly, and we keep getting increases for bad service, used and old equipment, and poor customer service. The options to TWC are limited, and not any better (DirecTV or Dish; FiOS is not available in my area). Our elected officials need to do something about this. This is anything but "Free Enterprise", it's a complete and total RIP-OFF!!!!!
