Campbells Condensed Minestrone Soup - Complaint

CAMDEN, NEW JERSEY -- I'm a fan of minestrone soup. On Feb. 3rd, I opened 1 can of Campbell's minestrone soup, poured it into a bowl & microwaved it warm. While eating the soup I bit down on something hard and sharp. It punctured the gum beside a tooth, causing my gum to bleed. The item that cut me appears to be part of a woody stem.

My mouth is really sore an its hard to eat today. I just hope that I don't get infection in the cut.

Given that lots of veggies in the soup have woody stems, it's always a possibility that one could make its way into the can on occasion.

Well------------gargle with Listerine twice a day and if it feels infected, go see your doctor and he can prescribe amoxicillin or some other broad spectrum antibiotic. That's why we pay for insurance. I am not sure what you would want the soup manufacturer to do about this or even why you are telling us this. Things happen and it's just an accident and really, no one did it on purpose. Get over it.

Gargling with warm salt water will help too

Use this form to contact the company and/or call the 800 number on the can. They should know what happened so there can be a record of it.
