Verizon Fios - False Advertising Followed by Terrible Customer Service
SYRACUSE, NEW YORK -- I saw an advertisement for Verizon Fios Bundle package for 99 Dollars a month which included TV, internet and phone. Upon completion of 3 months of on time payment you are suppose to receive a 300 Visa card. I thought what a great deal until I received my first bill that was over 165.00. I called to inquire why my bill was so high. I was told I was being billed in advance. I trusted what the customer service representative was telling me until I received my second bill of 196.37. I called customer service and was told that I was never on the bundle package!! I talked to sever representatives who told me that they would be more than happy to bundle my services BUT because it was not in the notes ANY WHERE I had to pay the 196.37. Wow. During my multiple conversations with customer service I got hung up on twice, had used over an hour of minutes on my cell phone and was told "I didn't ask you to call us on a cell phone". I asked for a supervisor I was told someone would call me back within 24 hours. No one called. I am disgusted with Verizon Fios and obviously this company DOES not care about their customers. I have talked to friends and family, I am not the only one that has had problems. What should I do? Discontinue Verizon Fios? I DO like the product but I have better things to do with my time other than fight for what I was told I was suppose to be charged!!
