Bought an open box Panasonic TV from Best Buy. The TV is ok but no remote control. Ordered one from Panasonic the first of January said 2- 3 weeks - called back today the first of February one month later -told it was still on BACK ORDER- holy cow - you can't buy a remote control from the company directly. They make hundreds of thousands of these idiot things a year and you can't get one lousy remote control - I mean they make hundres of them a day probably - anyway - learned my lesson - no more Panasonic for me.

Alternatively you can just get a universal remote, I have a logitech Harmony, I'm very pleased with it.

Yes, I also have a Logitech universal remote and it is much nicer than the cheesy one that came with my Panasonic tv.
