Travelers - What's happening?
roof repair - Complaint
PRESCOTT, ARIZONA -- We had storm damage to our roof in 2010.the travelers adjuster inspected the damage and concluded, in his opinion, that the roof was of faulty construction and therefore, by contract we had signed, exempt from claims- reimbursement. When we had purchased the house in 2003, there was no such statement made by the inspector. Also, after the most reputable local roofing co. gave the opinion that the roof was constructed to standard and code, travellers dragged their feet and acted like the most disorganized bunch of amateurs you have ever come across. Also, when you have snail mail contact with them, i.e. certified mail at that, everything is always "lost". On the telephone "supervisors" constantly quit. You always deal with new ones. They never want to reveal their full name. They love to threaten you with cancellation of the policy.
In the mean time I fixed the roof at my own expense. It is February 2012 now. The newest supervisor wants to have faxed all the correspondence to her.
These people are experts in withholding their obligation. I'd like to be a mouse witnessing their training sessions. I'm sure the ceo makes millions, too. beware!
