ANCHORAGE, ALASKA -- I have a Uniden DECT1480-3 with a broken base(my fault, so not under warranty). Called their parts department and was told they no longer sell my unit (bought less than a year ago) and so to fix my problem I would have to buy a new system. They only keep parts for a year, and after that time the consumer is sol. I have been thinking about purchasing some of their other products, like security cameras, but will go looking else ware.
