JB Robinsons - Necklace repair -- Very poor service
STERLING HEIGHTS, MICHIGAN -- I went to the Lakeside Mall location to have my necklace looked at. After almost a year my necklace began to turn my neck black. None of my other jewelry or necklaces do this. I had one place tell me that I should get it dipped to see if that helps. I decided to take it to the Lakeside location where it was purchased on Feb. 12th for the past Valentine's day. The woman, Annul, who I spoke with was rude and unconcerned with my issue. She told me that my one year warranty was up, once I explained I still had a few days till one year she stated that it was close. When I began to tell her that a completely different jewelry store offered to take care of it for free she told me that I didn't have a warranty. Then told me I could do a trade in for double. She picked my necklace up and put it right back down and said the necklace was fine and it was my skin that was the issue. When I explained none of my other jewelry cause me a problem she told me it would be 50 bucks to dip. She didn't even inspect the necklace. she just picked it up and then put it right back down. The service was terrible. I then took it to Fred Meyers which was located very close in the mall to the JB Robinsons store and Chris, one of the girls there, took care of me immediately. She is having my necklace dipped for free and she even is replacing the chain of the necklace for me. Now that is customer service!!
