Air France - Baggage Items Theft

SHEFFIELD -- Reports of Thefts from Baggage on Air France Flights are now very commom. It's getting worse. In early February 2012 my flight from Dubai was via Paris CDG to change planes for Manchester. The baggage was lost and then turned up 36 hours later. It looked intact. No to be. On opening it I found 3 expensive items had been removed. I await Air France to respond.
This has got to be the worst Carrier I've ever used. - Strikes - lost baggage - and now theft from baggage - TAKE NOTE !

What type items are missing? I think most airlines advise not including valuables in your checked luggage. Did they respond at all to you?

It is not a mistake that the Airlines, having what appear to be the most imbalanced relationship with customers regarding baggage compensation, to relax behavior where the defense is the strongest. All what needs to be done is, as already said, TAKE NOTE.
