JC Penney - Very Dissapointed!
Needle in Clothing - Complaint
CONCORD, CALIFORNIA -- I was at JC Penney this past Saturday. I have been a big supporter of this store and usually tell all my friends to go there especially since recently they have been making a huge effort to reduce their prices and marketing this quite effectively. I even appreciate the quality of clothing however ....I was appalled at the way I was treated this past weekend. I tried on several pieces of clothing and a pair of slacks. When I tried on the pair of slacks I failed to notice an employee had STUPIDLY attached the tag with a stick pin. When I went to pull up the slacks the pin lodged up in the back of my leg. OUCH! I yelled loudly - what the HECK IS THIS! The needle must have lodged about an inch up the back of my leg below my buttocks and when I pulled the pants off it then RIPPED OUT OF MY LEG! My leg bled and stung ALOT! I immediately when to an associate and told her what happened. I then waited for a lady who took an incident report which took 15 minutes. She did apologize and asked if I wanted a Band-Aid - not very sincerely or compassionately. THAT WAS IT!! I basically left without purchasing my several pieces of clothing I was planning on buying. I was told I could call back to get an incident report number whatever than means. I realize accidents happened, but if I had a client who was injured because of my companies’ negligence I would at least offer a discount or something to make it right. NOTHING! Not even the manager came down to apologize. My husband was so upset he went to find the manager and had no luck. I am so disappointed and feel they should do something to make up for what was an extremely painful and traumatic experience.
