TACOMA, WASHINGTON -- Every single month, they tried to charge me a fee for an unsuccessful transaction with my bank and forced me to bring a letter from my bank stating that funds were in my account at time of attempted transaction. After about 6 months of this (yes, I'm a slow learner) I finally got fed up and canceled my membership after paying for current month in person (yet again). Brought my account to a zero balance.

THEN a month later, they took almost $70 out of my account - well, well, well, THAT transaction was successful!!! Go figure...

When I called them, they tried to tell me that I still owed them for another month???

They most likely are going to charge you for the remaining months left on your contract. If they are going to charge you for it anyway, you might as well use them.

Cancel your debit card pronto or they will keep charging it.

I guess I forget to mention that my contract had ended over a year earlier. AND that I paid 1st and last when I joined.

My bank got the money back for me.

I guess I'm not the only one that quit due to their lousy billing practices. I drove by the other day and noticed that it's now a GOLD's Gym, lol!
