Verizon Wireless - Worst Customer Service On Earth.
PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND -- Signed up for a new cel phone, which I purchased through Amazon, as it was wildly cheaper than through Verizon. I set up the plan via Amazon, and confirmed it by voice -twice- with Verizon. This plan, since I have a brain in my head, included a texting plan as well as a data plan.
First month's bill . . . no text plan shown, a $400+ charge for texting. A continuation of the many nightmares I've had with Verizon. Shame on me, I suppose, for adding a line to my current account rather than going with a phone company that doesn't suck so much.
It has taken THREE MONTHS to get them to remove about $280 of that $400. It has taken SEVEN phone calls to get that done. SEVEN repeated idiots, all of whom agreed to remove this charge in its entirety, NONE OF WHOM DID. Two of whom removed PART of this charge. TWO OUT OF SEVEN. Let's see . . . this last time, two days ago, they agreed to take care of this. Again: no luck. After paying all of the bill excepting this amount, my phone has now been disconnected, and . . . can't get them on the phone, since their billing department, which is all my phone connects to, is closed on Sundays. Verizon SUCKS. They are the worst company on earth. DO NOT USE VERIZON EVER, FOR ANYTHING. EVER.
