ST LOUIS, MISSOURI -- Cabinet fell apart and crashed to the floor with backing still attached to the wall. Damaged two counter tops, tore my flooring and I lost all glass in the cabinet. It was a terrible experience and had anyone or a pet been in the area they would have been killed or injured. This is a safety issue and I am in fear other cabinets will do the same. I can not get any response from Masco.

This is a serious problem. One of 3 things must have happened. Either the installers did not properly mount the cabinets by using the back panel instead of the braces on the cabinets. The back panels are not built to handle the weight. Or the braces on the cabinets separated from the cabinets( poor cabinet construction). Or the cabinets could have been grossly overloaded. Whatever caused the problem you need to remove some of the weight from any existing cabinets so that they do not do the same thing. Once you have someone qualified to ascertain the problem and correct it you can start reusing your cabinetry
