Ashley Furniture - DAMAGED goods, they're TAUGHT to fill in with MARKER!!!!!
CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA -- We have received several orders/shipments from Ashley over the years. Nice furniture, ok sales people, nice CS people on phone, TERRIBLE laborers in the warehouse and in the field delivering. EVERY SINGLE time we either received a damaged piece, or the delivery guys damaged the pieces, and we've caught them THREE TIMES taking a BLACK SHARPIE coloring in the wood chips they made and trying to pass it off.
No exaggeration, we touched the spots and we come away with wet ink on our hands. Usually they try to HIDE this, but once one of the delivery guys did it openly in front of us and said "All better." IGNORANT. We'll have to upgrade to Boyles or something else, even Rooms To Go has to be better.
Since we've spend well over $15,000.00 at this store, we expect new and undamaged goods with decent delivery people. The last TWO orders, we declined/rejected pieces because they were so terribly damaged, and had to track CS down to get our orders.
Why didn’t we get a follow up on our furniture??? Oh, because the world-class delivery boys never really reported that we rejected it. So the warehouse thought we had our pieces... Oh, by the way, twice they've scratched our walls (once so bad we made them hire a contractor to repair) and this last time, they tracked red MUD/CLAY up our stairs. Terrible!!!
