ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA -- We went into Arcadia store Radio Shack on Baldwin Ave and Camino real, try to pay off the past due of cell phone bill for a friend who traveled outside the country.

At first, store clerk asked us to pay $3.00 extra for cash payment, then he tried to sell a Sprint payment card for $5.00, if we have the card, we don't have to pay $3.00 each time.

We felt been rip-off by the store. As soon as we walked out the store, we never go back again and change the cell phone company to Tmobile a week later.

That fee that was being charged is a precash transaction fee... Only Sprint uses that precash system to process the payment from a third party retailer like RadioShack. The only way to avoid that is to pay at a Sprint location or switch phone companies.. You decided on the latter and I think you made a wise decision. I love my T-Mobile service, the phone I have, and the price is right! :-)
