I also am very disgruntled that they have discontinued these shirts. I emailed jcpenney and received a "deal-with-it" reply which tells me they don't care about customer dissatisfaction.

Agree. Have shopped Penneys for yrs. Went yesterday to get Cabin Creek pants and Easy Spirit shoes. Nope. Found shoes at Macy's fyi.

I love cabin creeks plus size capris--elastic waist band is great for older people. I am looking for the denium ones. Have searched the internet and no luck. Am very dissappointed with the new format of catalogs that Penneys is sending out. Am happy not to be receiving a half dozen card stock discounts things in the mail. Just do it at the store and forget those mailings.

I'm so disappointed. I've worn Cabin Creek shirts and pants for several years, and love the fit and comfort, not to mention the durability. I will probably find similiar clothes elsewhere, but they will not compare. I don't think I'll find many things, if any,that I need at Penney's.

This was a quality reasonably priced brand. I started wearing Cabin Creek in my mid-thirties and loved it ever since. This is a reason I shop at JCP. I just looked at their June catalog and it is confusing and the "best price" items were out of season merchandise. I also went to JCP a couple of weeks ago and the place look brighter, but their selection is down. I do like Sephora.

I also disagree that jcpenney discontinue the cabin creek line. I was a very good customer buying cabin creek shoes for many years now I have to look for another store because I think there is no place for us the ones of 62 years old at JCP if I found some store who cares for us I would notify you.

I too am very disappointed that JCP has stopped carrying Cabin Creek clothing. In fact I am hugely disappointed in JCP period as many of the brands they used to sell have disappeared. I find I shop there a lot less than in the past. I feel it's their loss and maybe this is why their sales are way down!

I agree with most of the ladies here. I am 60 and have a difficult time finding clothes at JCPenney's these days. In the past I purchased most of my clothes from them, but what they carry now is mainly for the younger crowd. Plus the quality is very poor. How disappointing. I was at their store today and didn't buy anything. I wish their management would read these posts and makes changes before they loose more customers.

Retired from Penny's several years age. The stores were full of many different lines of apparral to choose from. Now they have cut to the bare bones??? and wonder why sales have bottomed out. Doesn't take a genius to figure that if you discontinue the lines that have kept you on top and just target a narrow trendy market you will be bankrupt in less than a year.

I hate JCP without Cabin Creek clothing. I had started wearing only Cabin Creek once I saw them online. I think JCP should consider making their customers happy. We want to wear what we like wearing, not what they want us to wear. I HATE most of their other clothing. We may as well now go to Wal Mart for clothing. Yuck.

I am so upset that JCP is not carrying the Cabin Creek brand, especially the jeans. I have been wearing them for years and I hate to sacrifice the comfort. I believe in the long run JCP will regret not carring the brand. It seems that there are many many women that are upset by this decision. You need to let your customers know if there is anywhere else this line may be purchased.

Can't believe Cabin Creek shirts are gone. I have most solid colors and continued to buy any new colors when added. Most people complained about the lack of dark colors. Now there are none! I used to buy more items when shopping for new shirts. Now I am gone too. No more Penney's how sad.

I used to buy Cabin Creek shirts for work, they were comfortable, durable and fashionable. I enjoyed having a large selection of colors to choose from. I agree that the clothing selection at Penney's has become cheaper in quality. I feel certain that I will shop with Penney's less frequently as if I would find something I liked as much as Cabin Creek it would also be discontinued! Please bring Cabin Creek back!

Disappointed to hear JCP longer carries cabin creek oxford shirts! Myself along with many Cracker Barrel employees ALWAYS bought cabin creek oxford shirts!! i will agree the quality was not as good in the last 4 or 5 years BUT we still bought them!! PLEASE bring them back!

I to always purchased cabin creek shirts for work from J C Penney. They lasted a long time. I am very upset with you J C Penney your sales are down but you take away items people are buying. Shame on you.

I loved Cabin Creek elastic waist capris. They were well-made, and I still wear several pair that I ordered from their old catalogs about 5 years ago. I would so appreciate seeing Cabin Creek items in the Penneys stores again. Mature shoppers should be considered, too.

I have worn the Cabin Creek twill pants in Talls for years. I am very disappointed JCP discontinued them. They also discontinued Gold Toe socks in the extended size. I have not bought anything at JCP since the revamping.

I won't be shopping at JCP any longer. Why did they have to get rid of Cabin Creek items? Nothing much left for me to buy. I'm 62. I certainly see why their sales have fallen flat.

I have been buying the Cabin Creek oxford shirts for so many years! I can safely say that I have more than 10 of these shirts in my closed. I am retired now but I was a teacher and used to use one of these shirts every day of the week and was always complemented for the neatness of the look. It was a routine for me to check every Spring to buy new prints and new sizes because according to my weight gain or loss. So, you can't imagine my dissapointment when, I while ago, I went to JCPenney website to buy some of these shirts in a larger size because I have gained some weight and was sure I could find the perfect size as I've been doing for so many years. :(

Had I know that Penney was closing out their Cabin Creek shirts that I've worn all of my life I would of bought a 100 of them so I would have them to wear now. As it is mine are all worn out and look like h---. But I still wear them around the house holes and all. I'm thinking of taking one apart and using it as a pattern to make new ones for me. That is just how much I like them. I'm 70 years old and know what I like.

I read the comments, I to liked the CAbin Creek clothing, especially the oxford shirts, they fit me perfectly. Have not been able to find a shirt to replace them. What you have in the store are tops and shirts that are slinky and for the much younger group. I do not feel comfortable in a slinky shirt that clings to me!!! Please bring back those wonderful oxford shirts!!!

I can't believe that you would discontinue the Cabin Creek Oxford women's shirts when so many of us loved them and have worn them for years. I hate the clothing that you are trying to make us my age wear and I'm 75. You are catering to the young and forgetting the family store that we all use to find what we wanted. From the looks of your stock, you are just hurting yourself and please bring back the Cabin Creek line including the purses before you lose everything you have gained all these years that I have shopped with you. Please listen to your customers, we need those blouse put back in stock. My credit card is of no use to me now that I can't get Cabin Creek so will probably just cancel it. Thank you for reconsidering our request.

I just found out today...I went specifically to JCP to purchase several pairs of Cabin Creek Capris to find out they no longer sell the brand. I left the store empty handed and on a search elsewhere. JCP has lost my business until they return the Cabin Creek Brand to the store.

I have worn Cabin Creek clothing for at least 20 years and as a shorter middle aged female but not a tiny size I find it extremely difficult to find nice basic twills, jeans, shirts etc. and Cabin Creek was a great brand for casual/work attire.
Not everyone can wear clingy young styles! Shopping these days has become a big chore because the stores do not maintain the inventory in the stores, either. One of the downsides of the internet revolution.

I, too, am so disappointed in JCP for discontinuing Cabin Creek clothing. I don't like the new styles that are out these days. I am a mature, (70 yrs old in 6 days) woman and am not interested in baring my bosom to the world. Hopefully we can find someplace else to buy Cabin Creek from.

It seems like everyone is saying the same thing...no reason to shop at JCP if they are not going to bring back the Cabin Creek line of clothing. Now they have a commercial out apologizing for all of the changes they have made. Ha...the only way they are getting me back is if they bring this line of clothing back. Bad move for them....I use to spend upwards of $200 a month at JCP

I don't sit down at a desk for work..so silk blouses are out...I've been using Cabin Creek shirts for work and home for years...any idea why JCP would give up a sure standard? Strange when they are having money trouble they would give up a item that is used across the country?? No wonder they are so troubled..no common sense

I have worn Cabin Creek denim jeans with the elastic waist for years from JCP. They were always bargain priced making it possible to purchase three or four pair at a time. I couldn't believe they have been discontinued by JCP. I am so disappointed. I absolutely love these jeans and don't know where to buy them now. Guess I will have to find a new brand somewhere else. I have been a JCP customer for years and years. I wonder whose idea it was to discontinue this line. The same lame brain that did away with the coupons I suppose. I, also, do not like those catalogs that come with my newspaper advertising JCP clothes. They feature skinny little women and girls wearing those skinny pants. Let's be realistic, not all women have a figure to wear skinny pants. Please bring back Cabin Creek!!

I also wore cabin creek clothing for years - in particular the elastic waist jeans. When JCP dropped these it was very disappointing and I have not been back to shop there since the middle of last year (2012). With the very recent management changes (at the top) I hope that JCP will make production changes and bring back some/all of the Cabin Creek line for all sizes/ages/shapes. I also hope that someone from JCP management/marketing will read this thread! Please consider it a free focus group.

I have Cabin Creek Capri Khakis I love and plenty of the oxford shirts. I also wont shop at JCP any longer unless they bring back that brand. I also looked elsewhere and that brand is nowhere to be found.

Well, add me to the number of women who have stopped shopping at JCPenney because they discontinued their line of Cabin Creek clothing. JCPenney was where I always purchased most of my clothing. Cabin Creek was good quality and lasted a long time. I don't know what I'll do now. The Cabin Creek line was comfortable and fit well. I stopped in the store recently and walked out. There just isn't anything there for me. I am now an EX JCPenny customer. The clothes they sell now are just too darned ugly and the store caters to a younger crowd. Bad move JCP!
