Sears Roebuck - Lied about service showing-up and price of service
Lawn Tractor - Complaint
NEW YORK -- I selected Sears to service my Sears Craftsman lawn mower over a local service dept that advertised they would pick-it up and deiver same free of charge if you made your appointment in February - I checked with Sears tel # 1-800-659-5917 believe it was a foreign voice from India;etc; they gave me a better price and advised me they would send service man on March 3 directly to my house and service tractor - They called me twice on March 2nd to insure I would be there; from the following tel. numbers 1-800-460-4663 and from 585-475-0310 however they changed the time from 8:00 AM to between 8 AM and noon. at 9:00 AM service Dept in area -refused to give name advised they would not be at my house today; however, they would come sometime in April and to recall Sears sometime around April 15 for the service. If they came today the charge would be MUCH HIGHER. I called service to complain and was told they would forward me to complaint dept. hung on for 15 minutes and they disconnected me - Attempted to file complaint with other Sears phone number s and was sent all over and eventually hung-up on ---VERY VERY FRUSTRATING !!!!!!!!!!
