NAUGATUCK, CONNECTICUT -- I was told my vehicle needed new ones. After I paid, I took my vehicle around block with the new parts in it. I Went right back to Meineke and told them the steering went drastic right, I straighten the wheels out and it went drastic left. Three mechanics said the parts needed to be "broken in".

I drove it 200 miles and same thing. I took it to a seasoned mechanic who said the 4 ball joints were NEVER lubricated or greased, also the front wheels were not aligned. I took it for wheel alignment where a few weeks earlier I bought new tires. They said the vehicle did not need the new shocks and ball joints and the vehicle had only 48,000 miles on it.

I Went back to Meineke to tell them. While I was there, a man came in to complain that his truck wheel fell off while driving, that they had supposedly fixed.

So please heed my warning...they do not seem to realize how important their job is to help keep the people and roads safe. They need better training!
