Guaranteed Tech - Sold me lemon and will not fix or replace it
Palm Pilot tungsten T5 - Complaint
ONTARIO, CANADA -- In June 2011, I bought a Palm Pilot PDA from Guaranteed Tech though Amazon. The one I picked would not HotSync with my Windows 7 operating system. I contacted Guaranteed Tech and they had me return it to a place in Florida. Then I got the replacement from them but at a higher cost. That was OK since I really needed something to work with my computer. At first they sent me the wrong charger and it was a month before they sent me the correct one so I could start using the PDA. Right from the beginning there were problems with accessing the letters and numbers. I bought several different styluses thinking that was the problem but that didn't help. I contacted Guaranteed Tech and was told I needed to hard restart it. I did. It lasted 24 hours. Thinking I may have done something wrong, I asked an engineer friend who has a similar PDA for help. He did the hard restart again. It lasted 24 hours. I have emailed the company multiple times but they do not respond at all. I only use my PDA for a calendar and address book so I do not need anything fancy (or expensive). I don't know how to resolve this. Can anybody help me?
