I don't know what account you're talking about...but if you recieved an Email asking for your password and other private information on a bank account or credit card accout, DON'T click on the link they give you! DON'T give them any information! DON'T even respond! Banks and credit cards won't ask for any of that information in Emails. Those are phishing sites to access your account. They will make you believe someone was trying to access your account or tried to log on and they will ask for all of your info including your SS# to 'protect'you...but it's all a scam!

seriously though. most likely it's not from the... unnamed company you've written about.
if you've already clicked and send them the data call the police to file a police report.
then contact the three credit reporting companies to put a freeze on your credit
