Allied Home Warranty - Mad As Fire

Plumbing System/Plumbing Stoppages - Complaint
Review by Consumer on 2012-03-07
Rating: StarEmpty StarEmpty StarEmpty StarEmpty Star
GARLAND, TEXAS -- The warranty coverage includes: - (Plumbing System/Plumbing Stoppages) Allied sent J. National out to clean out our line with a 25ft. cable with no success at clearing the blockage, not pulling anything back on the cable. We had to pay a service charge $60.00 but our line was still blocked.

The house needed to be hydro-jetted for $300.00. Allied said they would not get it fixed.

As far as the (1Star worst rating) in this review. That is far to much for this company.

It seems, from most of the reviews I've looked at, that a lot of these home warranty companies spend more time denying claims or providing minimal service when they decide to respond to a problem than they ever do actually repairing anything properly. Maybe make a quick official complaint via https://www.oag.state.tx.us/consumer/complain.shtml and http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/index.shtml The hope is that after a number of complaints appear, someone may actually put some pressure on the company to provide some measure of service to the consumer.
