ORLANDO, FLORIDA -- I had changed banks and there was an error in the transfor so the payment was rejected by Progress Energy. I did not receive any notice. The power was shut down. Nobody called or knocked on the door. 5 hours later the power was restored. I have been penalized with a $40 turn on charge, plus a $790 new deposit. The customer service people were nasty and threatened to turn my power off.
