Dell Complaint - dell computers
As a consumer from your state, I felt it was my responsibility to bring to your attention the following incident.
i purchased a dell #8400 computer w/ epson rx500 printer. computer was defective, their service tech didn't have a remedy. after weeks of emails i received an rma to return the computer, monitor and all accessories. since the printer worked, i didn't send it back. the cost of the printer was $229. i mailed $243. my next bill was over $1000, i called and explained i sent everything back with the exception of the printer, which i mailed them more than the asking amount. i gave them the tracking #s, thinking it was a done deal. next month i receive a bill for over $700. called gave them tracking #s again. the next month i get a bill for over $300. i call again with the same information, i email the bbb, i write a letter to dell. now i have been turned into encore collection agency. i was receiving 6 to 7 calls a day from dell, now i receive that many or more from encore. i even received one call on a sunday, plus threatening letters. none of dell's bills have been itemized, they just have an amount.they acknowledge they received $243 from me but no explanation why the $1000, $700 and $300. they told the bbb that i haven't made a payment since may. that's true that was my second check for $143. is there no stopping these people?
As a resolution, I would like the following:
to leave me alone or someone start a class action suit. there's alot of this going on. re: 'my3cents.com' i am one of many.
