Cellular Phone Service - Complaint
ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO -- I purchased cell phone service with T-MOBILE in August, 2011. Today is March 13, 2012. At the initial service orientation, T-MOBILE was running a 14 day promotion to try for free, a WiFi, hotspot device. I tried the promotion, decided it wasn't for me, so I returned the device....Long story short, the charges for the device and other fees were finally taken care of TODAY. Secondly, I was given a courtesy call telling me my phone bill was due, through the automated system, which gave me an option to make the phone payment within 24 hrs...this around 1pm EST. My phones were disconnected by 9:00AM today....I call customer service, they give me the payment amount, I go to a retail store to make payment, and now they refuse to restore my service. What is going on T-MOBILE? By the way, the folks in Accounts Receivabe/Billing can be VERY NASTY.
