Why do realtors insist on not showing Home Owner Association (HOA) fees on their listings? These run (if applicable) from $50/month to over $600/month - this is an important factor to know in reviewing real estate properties. One might say that the realtor wants you to contact them to generate traffic but I can usually find out by searching for the fees without going to the realtor but it is a pain. When I request an HOA I waste my time and the realtor's time - just put the HOAs and taxes in the listings - make it easier for everyone.

I think it is to their advantage to not provide you with the information, though it is obviously something that is valuable to the buyer.

They probably want to make the property more attractive, and ideally a buyer wouldn't consider the HOA until they have decided they want the house. I hope they listen, but my guess is it is omitted intentionally.

When me and my husband sold our first home our realtor asked us if we wanted to have the fees disclosed on website..I think its usually up to seller if they want certain info posted..
