RUTHER GLEN, VIRGINIA -- I had the Terminix man out on a Thursday (regularly scheduled visit) and noticed the day after that service that I also had some kind of insect that looked something like a flour weevil all over the kitchen shelves. I call on a Saturday and they said they didn't know when someone would be back in my area and that they would get back in touch. Almost a week went by and when I called the 800 service number they said that they couldn't get in touuch with the local service agent and referred me over to another 800 (or 866, whatever) number. You have to have the name of an person or an extension number in order to get any further. I was looped around and around. I finally emailed the corporate office (executive services) and canceled my service....I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PEST CONTROL PROVIDER UNDER ANY CIRCUMANSTANCES. I am currently on chemotherapy and don't want to mess around with bugs or insecticides. I need a good reliable service....not a company that has no consideration for their customers.

I am an old fart so I have experienced many things. One lesson I have learned is that it is much better to give your business to the local Mom and Pop establishments rather than the chains. Get a local guy to do your exterminating. If you need car repairs, home remodeling, new appliances, etc. get the local guy. It will be done better and ---here's the catch--- it will be less expensive. If you have a problem you will not be passed around corporate and the local guy actually worries about being reported to the BBB. Just saying.
