Blue Shield - Auto pay

LOS ANGELES -- After 7 years of having my insurance premiums to Blue Shield automatically debited from my Bank of America, I get a letter from Blue Shield asking me if I want to go on auto pay with an enclosed paper invoice for the premium! There is always enough money in the account to cover the premiums. What gives?? I can't seem to get a straight answer out of Blue Shield or Bof A. They keep passing the buck

was it debited through your debit card? Did it expire? If not did you bank get recently bought out? When National Bank got bought out by PNC we have to re-set everything up again because their routing number changed to PNS's routing number which canceled out all auto-payments.

To my knowledge BoA buys and borrows but has not been bought out traceylnn.
