NCO Financial Systems Complaint - NCO keeps calling even though we're not the ones they want
KANSAS -- My husband has a very common last name, which I'll call "Smith". Several months ago we started getting automated calls from NCO asking for various people with the last name Smith, but it was never my husband. In the last 30 days alone they have called with automated messages for Edward Smith, Jose Smith, Karen Smith and Heather Smith. The automated call has an option to pick if they have the wrong number, but every time I select it, the next day NCO calls us 3+ times with another automated message for us to call 866-701-1275. THAT number is usually answered by a machine, on which I have left several messages telling them to stop calling because they have the wrong number.
Today I got a human at that number. She insisted that I was Heather Smith or that I let Heather Smith use my phone, and refused to stop calling us.
Since they've been notified multiple times that we are not the people they want, who do I need to complain to for the calls to stop? It's just harassment now. The phone company can't block their calls.
