Alleginat Airlines - Stop Blaiming Allegiant For Not Following There Boarding Requirements
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- I don't know why everyone is so bent on blasting Allegiant Airlines for anything and everything. My family and I flew them last summer from ABE-Allentown, Pa to Myrtle Beach Sc. I've learned from the past that it pays to be at the airport early. I even go so far as stay at a local hotel directly across from the airport the night before the flight. Because it costs less to leave the car there. Than to park at the airport for 7-11 days.
We always buy the preselected seats so we can all sit together. And priority boarding. And I STILL GET TO THE AIRPORT AT LEAST 2 HOURS BEFORE THE FLIGHT. So do yourself a favor and DO IT. Also Don't assume because your traveling with small children. That your your entitiled to board early. Because you can't. Prority Boarding passangers board first. Thats why they pay for it. Then followed by disabled passangers. Then open seating. Understand what Alleginats policies are before you buy a ticket. And you'll have less of a hassle. But don't blame the airline or make them the bad guy. Because you got to the airport late. Or boarded last and got a crumby seat next to the engine. And no overhead space for your carry on.
If you don't like Allegiants way of doing things. Then don't fly them And pay a lot more on a full fare airline. With connections. And maybe you get a free soda and a stale bag of peanuts (wow)The bottom line is this, Allegiant flies to small airports others don't. And flies to preferred sunspots at A CHEAP PRICE. Understand that they are different than other airlines. And they usually get you there.
