Sprint - Horrible phone and service
htc evo - Complaint
DENVER, COLORADO -- I have had to return my HTC EVO 2-3 times already and yesterday I decided I was fed up with the camera on the phone not working properly. I took it to the local store who said I couldn't just exchange it for a new one and had to go to a Sprint repair store first. Fine, I go 20 min out of my way to do that. They repaired the camera but all my info was reset so I have to go thru the trouble of adding apps again and reconfiguring my phone. Now, one day later my power button doesn't work!
This is all after the fact that when I switched from an employee plan from a friend to my own I was told I could upgrade in Feb. Then when I went to do so I was told the person I spoke with made a mistake and I could not upgrade until Dec. Because it was no longer an employee plan!
I can understand that they offer a phone with some glitches, help every product is not perfect, but after returning multiple times and the many issues I have had I would think they would offer me some kind of new phone. When I have asked multiple employees and they can't do anything, I even asked to just switch to another comparable phone or even a slight downgrade just to have a reliable phone and still nothing! The price for the plan is low but not worth it if my phone doesn't work and the customer service sucks. I will be switching as soon as I find a better deal, after 4 years as a customer I would expect more Sprint. I will let everyone know of my experience including my city employer who offers Sprint plans.
