Verizon Expert Care - When EXPERT really mean INCOMPETENT!
Expert Care Warranty Service - Complaint
FLORIDA -- I have had Expert Care Warranty service for three years. It warrantys TV's, computers etc. Twenty dollars a month, $75 co-pay and then they will fix or replace. My TV went out. THey came out to fix it THREE times for the same problem($75 each time.) Finally they decided to replace it. Said I would have a replaceemnt in 7-10 days -- OK, that reasonable. Sent me a choice of replacements. I selected one. Got an email that it was ordered, shipped and I'd have it in 7-10 days. That was a month ago.
Got a call that the TV actually didn ship but to another customer. Now not available. I have to select another model. So I did. I asked for a tracking number so I could be here when it arrived to sign for it. Took 10 days to get it. Still, now it is on it's way. Today it arrived. IT is the wrong TV -- not close!
During this disaster talked to two "Supervisors" and a total of five "Expert"Care people. They all go home early, don't respond quickly and have an absolutely horrible control process to ensure that what is delivered is RIGHT, ON TIME, and AS AGREED!
I currently havbev "everything" Verizon. I am now reassessing that position. I have had past issues with billing changes without notice and with my contract being secretly renewed without my knowint it. THese were corrected by Verizon. However, at some point you have to conclude that the management at many levels is poor. Moreover, their commitment to customer service is very suspect
